78th Street Studios, Gallery -

Bunny Paige Is Now At 78th Street Studios

If you haven't heard, Cleveland is in the middle of a cultural renaissance. Rising from the ashes of what used to be a city built on steel and industry we have found new life in our rich food, theater, and arts heritage. Gordon Square is the latest area of Cleveland to be renovated into a thriving arts arts district and is home to 78th Street Studios, the largest arts and design district in the area. On the third Friday of every month over 40 venues and galleries open their doors to the public for a free open house and it is because of the Third Friday Art Walk that I both discovered and fell in love with 78th Street Studios a few years back.

The main entrance of 78th Street Studios. The mammoth warehouse was originally built in 1905 and now hosts over 170,000 square feet of art galleries, artist studios, design showrooms, and other creative spaces.

Last year I was honored when I was asked to be a guest in the gallery space of two incredibly talented local artists, Dawn Tekler and Jamilla Naji. It was around New Year's Eve when I got the email that a space in their gallery had opened up and they wanted to offer that space to me. Even though I knew it was going to be an insane amount of hard work to get it off the ground I immediately said yes. I didn't believe it until I got the keys a couple of weeks later.

It's been a couple of months since those keys hit my hand and I still find myself working tirelessly on turning my space into my own little wonderland. The space is constantly evolving and I look forward to presenting something new and exciting every month. Come check out my ever changing gallery this Friday, February 20th from 5-9pm. You can also keep up with all of my upcoming shows as well as all things Bunny Paige by following me on social media or by signing up for my  newsletter.

Stay warm and think sparkling, spring time thoughts, everyone!
